Rosette Design and ConstructionRosettes are made from a series of pleated tiers. The pleated tiers can be made from any of the different colours, types and widths of ribbon available and can have between one and five tiers. To make the rosette even more special we can insert one or more rows of points (triangular shapes) and/or loops (rectangular shapes) between the pleated tiers.
Two, three, five or seven tails (or more if you wish) are attached and these can be printed to your requirements, e.g. "Best in Show". Alternatively the tail ribbons can be sewn together to create a pendant banner that hangs downwards vertically from the rosette or horizontally between two rosettes to create a cage banner. The rosette can have either a circular centre board hot foil printed to your requirements or it can have a carnation made of pleated ribbon if you prefer.
The tails and centres are normally printed using either gold or silver but we can also print in red or blue if required. Rosettes can be fitted with either bridle clips or safety crimp pins and this is included in the price of the rosette. Typically if the rosette is to be fitted to an animal head collar, harness or bridle or it is to be attached to a cage then a bridle clip is used (e.g. cat, horse and livestock shows). If the rosette is to be worn attached to an item of clothing then a safety pin is used (e.g. dog shows).
We regard all our rosettes as equally important, whether they are minor awards or for a top placing such as overall best in show. We pride ourselves on producing a top quality product that any recipient would be proud to win. We do not produce a catalogue as such. You can see some of our range, obtain a quote and order online by choosing Quote from the menu. All prices exclude VAT and carriage You are welcome to request any of the designs you see on this website or a design based on another rosette you have or just tell us your colours and how much you want to spend and we will do the rest! We will start by putting together a proposed design and either send you a sample rosette or photographs, along with pricing. From that you can then specify any changes you require and confirm your order quantities. They will then be manufactured and despatched to meet your requirements. |
